Dr. Ferry was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. He graduated from JESUIT HIGH SCHOOL in 1969. His next academic endeavor was attending Loyola University on a Baseball scholarship, where he received his B.S. degree in Biology and Chemistry in 1974.He then graduated from Louisiana State University School Of Dentistry receiving his D.D.S. degree in 1977. It was while attending L.S.U. where he met his future wife Maria Tabio who was earning her degree as a Dental Hygienist. Upon graduation the pair relocated to Plant City (Maria’s hometown) and fell in love with the people and the small town atmosphere.
Dr. Ferry has a keen interest in dental materials and stays up to date with constant continuing education training, and the readings of the latest dental products, to ensure that his patient's restorations are cosmetic and durable. Dr. Ferry is a member of the Florida Dental Association,West Coast Dental Association,Polk County Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Ferry has been in the same Plant City location along with his wife Maria since 1977, and they are the parents of three sons, Matthew, Michael and Marc. His hobbies include landscape photography,portrait photography,and micro photography.Fly fishing for redfish and snook is a passion for him.
